Uniform Information and Pricelist
When joining our Scout Group for the first time, you will need to buy items of uniform from us which include:
-
Necker and Centurion Group badge: £5.00
-
Badge set (Lonsdale District, West Lancashire County, Centurion with Westgate name tape and Scouts Membership badges): £3
-
Leather woggle (Scouts only): £2
Beavers and cubs are given woggles which indicate their lodge (beavers) or six (cubs); and these may change during their time in the section. Scouts are given a Patrol badge to sew on their uniform.
When moving up to a new section there is no need to buy new badges, they can be transferred from the previous uniform, however many parents get new badges so that they can keep old uniforms for posterity. The neckers are often reused as members move up.
Members will also need to buy a jumper or shirt which are available online at https://shop.scouts.org.uk or at the Scout Shop in Lancaster (more info here: https://www.lonsdalescouts.org.uk/hq-shop/). If you are unsure of sizes then please see your leader for advice. Many parents buy big sizes because they don't want to sew all the badges onto a new uniform!
